From onboard data to decisions that reduce risk and operating cost.
UNUM Genset connects smart sensors, controller data and telematics equipment to dashboards, reports and alerts in one cloud service.

Smart sensors, the genset controller and telematics equipment collect operating data directly on site.

The cloud service turns live parameters and events into dashboards, reports and alerts in the web interface and mobile app.

Managers, finance teams, service specialists and dispatchers work from one shared source of current and historical data.

One software.
Use one operating environment across existing and new gensets while keeping the engines and controllers already in the field.
Monitor stationary and mobile gensets across CAT, Cummins, Deutz, Volvo, Yanmar and other engine brands.

Connect ComAp, DSE, Datakom, KOHLER SDMO, SmartGen and other supported controllers through compatible interfaces.

Activate only what each genset needs — and pay only while it is active.
Tasks are billable telematics service functions for Operational Monitoring and Post-Analysis, with ready-to-use dashboards, reports and parameter sets.
Track tank level, refuelling, draining and actual fuel consumption in real time, then analyze operation by work mode.
One compatible hardware stack — faster deployment, simpler support.
A compatible hardware stack from one supplier, built around common cabling principles, simplifies component selection, wiring and support. DFM and DUT-E fuel measurement works alongside engine CAN and controller data in the same telematics architecture.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. UNUM Genset is designed for multi-brand fleets. Supported controller data and control functions can be brought into one cloud monitoring environment, so operators do not need a separate monitoring workflow for every genset brand.
The platform can combine electrical, engine, controller, fuel, status, alarm and location data. The exact parameter set depends on the connected controller, ECU, sensors and telematics hardware.
With compatible fuel level sensors and flow meters, operators can see tank level, direct fuel consumption, engine operating time, refuelling and draining events, history and sudden fuel-level changes that may indicate leaks or theft.
Custom event triggers can be created for monitored parameters. Controller and edge-device events can be surfaced in the platform and notifications can be delivered through supported channels such as the mobile application and e-mail.
Yes. The system can collect diagnostic trouble codes from the genset controller and engine ECU and show decoded descriptions, helping service teams understand a fault before travelling to the site.
With the GPS option, operators can view current and historical location data, track mobile or rented assets and use geofences for additional monitoring and event handling in predefined areas.
Yes. Reports can be prepared for a single asset or a group of assets, scheduled automatically and combined with long-term statistics, charts and Analyzer views for deeper investigation.
UNUM telematics hardware can work with genset and sensor data over CAN J1939/S6 and Modbus RTU, support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE/S7) for wireless sensors and 2 analog inputs for standard analog signals, and transmit data over cellular or Wi-Fi connections.
Supported remote-control functions depend on the connected controller and integration. Where the controller and interface support them, monitoring and control can be combined in the same UNUM Genset environment.
Yes. UNUM Genset supports customized dashboards and reports, and the platform can be adapted with company branding and data integration according to project requirements.
